Hero Israel

War sucks.

It really does.

My heart and spirit are crushed with every strike, every death. Every soldier lost, every citizen lost.

But still, I kvell.

A hundred times a day since Friday night, I kvell.

Yes, kvell is “North American English”

As I remain glued to the news, toggling incessantly from WhatsApp to X to YouTube to Substack to Facebook to Fox and back again for the second-to-second updates, I kvell.

People take it for granted that Team USA-Israel has seized the reins of the War on Evil and taken it upon itself to save the world.

Yes, save the world.

We don’t even blink an eye when every other word in the reporting of what will likely prove to be the most consequential war since World War II is “Israel.”

Tiny Israel.

I am Israel. Hear me roar.

Politicians and diplomats and analysts the world over are calling Israel America’s strongest and most strategic ally. Not just in the Middle East. On earth.

I’ve been saying this for decades, by the way, but the pundits are just getting the memo.

Truth-tellers cannot deny the military dominance of the Lions of Zion. Haters cannot deny that jealousy fuels their resentment. Israeli strength and prowess after rising from the literal ashes of the Holocaust flies in the face of the Oppressed Class. Turns out, Jews have been victimized like no other group in history, but we refuse to be victims.

And now, a tiny nation of ten million people are not the ward of, but the equal of, the partner of, the most formidable military on earth.

No other country stepped up to take the lead with America to decapitate the world’s #1 state sponsor of terror. No other country, I will argue, could complete this job.

USA has, indisputably, the most formidable military on earth.

But think about it. Israel is #2.

If you consider Israeli combined military might, intelligence, and technology, who else compares?

Up until this weekend, I seethed with anger over the global antizionists’ obsession with the tiny Jewish State. All of their arguments are based on vitriolic lies, libels, and double standards. And double standards are antisemitic.

But now, I’m just kvelling. Israel is helping America to save the world and the world doesn’t even question the partnership.

After 2 1/2 years of relentless, manufactured, hypocritical global condemnation for fighting an existential war on seven fronts, Israel pays no mind. Israel soldiers on and does exactly what Israel needs to do.

And, even more, Israel does what is right and never apologizes for it.

Israel isn’t just saving itself. Israel is saving Western civilization. And Israel isn’t just saving Western civilization, it is also saving the rabid haters whose antisemitic genocidal rage consumes them.

Israel doesn’t ask for thanks or appreciation for its commitment and sacrifice because it knows it will never get it. But every time you read the word “Israel” or hear it on the news as the IRGC Regime of Terror is decimated before our very eyes, kvell just a little bit. Or a lot.
